We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Surface Repair & Restoration Specialist to work with our client across the North West, based from the offices in Warrington.
This is a permanent position and requires experience within a similar role, the ability to provide a portfolio of your work would be advantageous.
The purpose of the role is to investigate and complete the rectification of instructed defects, ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with design standards, specifications, and company procedures.
You should be self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to meet deadlines. It is essential that you have excellent customer service skills and be a confident
communicator.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Working within a customer-focused environment ensuring best practices are maintained throughout any works and within the specified target date
A mixture of hard service repair, stone repair, window doors and frames, sanitary wear repair, internal door repair, worktop repair, glass repair, floor tile repair
Will ensure all works are carried out safely, and in compliance with company Safety Policy, Risk and Method Statements and all relevant legislation
Investigate and complete the rectification of instructed defects, ensuring all work is carried out safely, on time within budget, and in accordance with design standards, specifications, and company procedures
Work with members of the site teams to ensure remedial work is carried out in pre-completion properties, whilst liaising closely with the customer care team should a post-completion remedial be required.
Maintain site diary along with Customer Care Co-ordinator assistance
Compile Health and Safety records for each task
Manage material order requests to purchase materials
Workmanship escalations to be passed to Site Manager / Contracts Manager
Understand stakeholders’ expectations
Customer escalations to be passed to the Customer Care Manager
Allocate/attend to defect repairs efficiently and within targets set by Site Manager pre-completion / Customer Care Manager post-completion
Manage communication through required teams
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have an appropriate technical construction background and experience within a similar role.
They will be highly organised with a flexible approach to workload, working hours, and location.
A team player who demonstrates both leadership skills and support qualities.
Good communication skills, high attention to detail, and a strong focus on quality and the Customer Journey are essential, in addition to being self-motivated, customer-focused, enthusiastic, and a team player.
A full driving license is essential
